Navigating the site
To find your way around our website, use the yellow navigation bar on the
left. This allows you to quickly reach any part of the site. If you select
a section with several sub-sections (for example, kits and patterns), the
subsection expands and is highlighted in orange.
Secure Ordering
Our secure ordering system uses the popular Actinic Catalog system, used
everyday by thousands of websites around the world with no known security
breaches. Your card details are entered into an encrypted database on our
server, and are not decrypted until they reach our office computer. Once
there, we package your order and charge your card accordingly. Once your
order is dispatched, we destroy all records of your card information from
our computers.
Requirements
The Actinic system requires that your browser accepts cookies. The cookie
is only used to track your shopping cart through our site, and is not passed
to any other site.
If you have problems using the catalog, please email us with details
and we'll look into it.
Buying items without a "Buy" button
If you wish to buy a product that isn't on our website, or that hasn't
got a buy button yet, then use this buy button below:
This will add an item to your shopping cart called "EMAIL". When you
progress to the checkout, enter your card details as normal. You will be
given an order reference number (it will be emailed to you if you forget
to write it down). Then, just email us with your requirements, quoting
the reference number in your message, there is no need to send card
details in this email. We will reply quoting a price and wait for your
confirmation before proceeding.
Editing your shopping cart
To edit the contents of your shopping cart, select the "View Cart" button
or the "Edit Shopping Cart" option in the navigator bar. This will show
you the contents of your shopping cart with an Edit and Delete button next
to each item. You may change the quantity ordered or delete items here.
Getting to the checkout
You can review the items in your shopping cart and progress to the checkout
at any time by clicking on the "Edit shopping cart" option in the navigator
bar, or the shopping cart icon. |
